Being an expat and repat for almost ten years now, I have been through many cultural, linguistic and interpersonal challenges. I often found myself feeling lost, lonely and isolated without clarity on where to go and nowhere to call home, wondering: Am I in the right place or should I go back to my country? Do I like my life? Is this all there is?
While thinking about these questions, I had two voices in my head: One saying “Of course this is all there is.”
But there was also this other voice from within. I felt that voice struggling for a long time to be heard. Finally, I started listening to that muffled, tired voice. It was trying to say something, but all I got were some abstract words. Words like “Spark, Purpose, More, Enough, Mission.” As a linguist I couldn’t help but put these words in a syntactic order: What makes my eyes spark? What is my purpose on this planet? Which mission shall I serve? Is there more? If so, am I good enough to achieve that? And just like that, one question at a time, my reality started shifting.
I impulsively booked a 5-day vacation, got to this isolated place in Germany, turned my phone off and started reading and daydreaming about all the abstract words my inner voice had whispered to me.
After coming back, I noticed this feeling that “there is something more” was still there. I followed the signs and somehow all what happened around me was so perfectly aligned, that it almost felt the Universe was conspiring to make me fulfil my dreams. I found the right books, the right people, the right classes, and most importantly the right energy.
That’s how I discovered how you can get from feeling lost to the fulfilment of your mission in just seven steps. I decided to call them “Stairway to Clarity.”
Two months after having completed these steps, I had started my courses in Coaching, NLP, CBT and Counselling. Six months later, I had the courage to quit my job, and one year after that vacation, I was helping amazing women from all around the globe achieve their goals, unleash their potential and become aware of their amazing, invincible power.
